Violet Westrich (Bridget's Grandmother)

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup shortening
• 3 tsp baking powder
• 3 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 5 cups flour
• 6 Tbsp milk

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Sprinkle with sugar.
3. Bake at 375 until desired brownness.
