Cream of Potato Soup

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp. Cut into small pieces.
  2. In stock pot, add potatoes, onions, celery, carrots, water, salt, pepper, and sugar. Cook uncovered until vegetables are tender.
  3. Mix 3 Tbsp flour with 1 cup milk. Add to soup.
  4. Add the remaining milk.
  5. Simmer entire mixture until it thickens, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the cream and bacon. Adjust the seasonings as needed.
